This month’s Queer Contra Dance takes place on Saturday, December 30, 2017. It’s the night before New Years Eve! In the heart of Boystown on the last Saturday of each month friends come together to dance to live music. Bring your friends and out-of-town guests to experience this uniquely queer, inclusive dance at the Second Unitarian Church, 656 W Barry Ave.

Doors open at 6:00, Lesson begins at 6:30, Dance goes from 7:00 to 9:30

Admission by suggested donation of $10, paid at the door
No one turned away for lack of funds.

**Accessibility Info: The dance hall is on the second floor, up ~1.5 flights of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no elevator to this part of the facility. We are willing and able to assist in whatever way is needed to help folks get to the dance hall! The hall has plenty of chairs for resting or sitting and listening to the music, and there is one spacious non-gendered single-occupancy restroom

Join us for an evening of dancing in Ida Noyes Hall’s Third Floor Theater.  The Bandicoot Ceilidh band – Tim, Jeremy, Meg & Jonathan – are playing, with Jo Mortland calling.  The dance is from 7-10pm with a beginner lesson at before the dance. $5 students/$8 non-students.
