This month’s Queer Contra Dance takes place on Saturday, December 15. In the heart of Boystown on the last Saturday of each month friends come together to dance to live music. Bring your friends and out-of-town guests to experience this uniquely queer, inclusive dance at the Second Unitarian Church, 656 W Barry Ave.

Admission by suggested donation of $10, paid at the door
No one turned away for lack of funds.
The dance hall is on the second floor, up ~1.5 flights of stairs. There is no elevator to this part of the facility. The dance hall has plenty of seats and has gender-inclusive restrooms. Please reach out if we can help with accessibility needs.
Tonight is a special dance, celebrating the Chicago Barn Dance Company’s 40th anniversary. Band and calling will be open – bring your instruments, dance cards and dancing shoes! Fred Campeau will lead the band, and Jo Mortland will organize the calling.
