The dance is being held in The Great Room in Seabury Hall, 500 Haven St. Evanston IL 60201. Matthew Christian and Max Carmichae will playing some fantastic music with Georges Augustin calling.

As with most contra dances no partner or dance experience in needed. The event is open the the public as well as the Northwestern community.
This month’s Queer Contra Dance takes place on Saturday, April 20. In the heart of Boystown on the last Saturday of each month friends come together to dance to live music. Bring your friends and out-of-town guests to experience this uniquely queer, inclusive dance at the Second Unitarian Church, 656 W Barry Ave.

The dance hall is on the second floor, up ~1.5 flights of stairs. There is no elevator to this part of the facility. The dance hall has plenty of seats and has gender-inclusive restrooms. Please reach out if we can help with accessibility needs.
